Sales and Customer Services Co-ordinator

Job Summary

Premier Limpet manufactures and supplies printed and unprinted self-adhesive tape. We delivered 48 million square meters of tape in 2021. This represents a market leading 9% share of the total UK market, delivered through a network of over 500 UK distributors, generating sales revenue of £12.1 million.

We are strengthening our Customer Services Team based at Stevenage to support our ambitious growth plans over the next three years.

Primary Purpose of the Role

Building amiable, long term, relationships, with existing and new distributors that actively encourages business growth through new products and generic growth.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with distributors through open and interactive communication.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for customer orders and enquiries to completion
  • Process and acknowledge orders to agreed deadlines
  • Recommend company products, negotiate and quote in line with our distributor’s requirements
  • Follow up all quotations through to order
  • Upsell to existing customers, maximising profitability
  • Build harmonious relationships with customers and work colleagues
  • Monitor sale trends and take action where required
  • To be fully conversant with all systems used by Premier Limpet to ensure a consistent approach
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
  • Additional duties required to enhance the success and efficiency of the business

Self-Adhesive Tape Printing Press Operator

Premier Limpet Ltd are looking for a Self-Adhesive Tape Printing Press Operator to join our printed tape facility based in Great Gransden, Sandy, Bedfordshire.

The primary function of this role is the efficient day to day running of the printing press, ensuring that it is fully utilized producing printed tape to the highest standard.

We are looking for an individual who has knowledge of printing Self-Adhesive Tapes and has high levels of accuracy, to join our busy Print team.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a Siat Printing Press
  • Experience to include knowledge across all areas of print, starting from Pre-Press, right through to wash down and general machine maintenance.
  • To be competent at mounting plates and ink mixing.
  • Experience of Solvent based liquid ink systems.
  • Willing to take responsibility to ensure quality control and company procedures are adhered to.
  • Be flexible to the business requirements, ability to work on their own initiative and solve problems as they arise
  • Demonstrate good organisational and self-motivational skills
  • Have an excellent eye for detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Warehouse Operative

Location: Great Gransden, SG19 3BJ

Hours: Full Time

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Warehouse Operative based in Great Gransden.

The successful candidate will work Monday-Friday 8:00am-17.00pm.

Role Requirements

  • Forklift & warehouse experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, speed, and accuracy.
  • A flexible, friendly approach with a team focus and can-do attitude.
  • Double-check your work as you go.
  • Initiative, an eye for detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • The ability to accurately follow instructions.

Role Responsibilities

  • You’ll support our teams with a variety of work, from picking, packing, processing to stock control and quality assurance.
  • The role is physical and will include lifting, standing, and walking.
  • Re-palletising & labelling.
  • Accurately load parcels & pallets on vehicle
  • Provide quality service by following organisation standards.
  • Prepare orders for daily despatch.
  • Receive & check goods in and returns.
  • Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
  • Work well within the team.
  • Coordination.
  • Organization.
  • Time management.
  • Inventory control.
  • Documentation skills.
  • Comply with Company and Health and Safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Undertake other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Manager.
  • Work safely and accurately at speed, following instructions.
