Premier Limpet have recently added R5 tape to their range of Eco products. Exclusive to Premier Limpet in the UK, R5 is a unique product which combines the high performance properties of polypropylene with its recyclability.
The product itself contains 34% recycled post-industrial waste and the core is made from recycled paper. The proportion of recycled polypropylene content makes R5 exempt from the forthcoming Plastic Tax.
The tape and core are also recyclable and the product has a lower environmental impact with an 18% reduction in CO2 emissions.
R5 is available with either hot melt or acrylic adhesive and can be printed up to 8 colours. With standard thicknesses of 25mu, 28mu and 32mu, available in hand or machine rolls, there is no reason why standard tape cannot be switched to R5.
